How it went, from start to adjustment.
When I think of luxury, I also think of access to expensive and rare experiences. But the word doesn’t end there for me.
It makes me think of a welcoming home. People who care about me and support my choices. Having a place where I can live with greater peace.
These things matter in how I imagine a good life. They aren’t just a backdrop. Relationships and the environment I live in are part of each day’s experience.
A beautiful place can catch attention in a picture. What I want to protect goes beyond what a camera can show: feeling welcome, having my choices respected and being able to feel at ease.
I want to look at home and relationships as parts of life that need attention, too. What welcomes me? What do I want to nurture? Who can I share what I’m building with?
When I say living well is the true luxury, that space is inside the sentence. A good life needs somewhere to settle.
